It is a cross platform automation and configuration tool/framework, which works well with existing tools, and is optimized for processing structured data (i.e. JSON, CSV, XML, etc.), REST APIs, and object models.

Windows PowerShell has more than 130 “commandlets” (cmdlets), which can handle many jobs, no matter service or process management, registry, object operation, etc. It can be managed locally or remotely.
When you download the compressed package and unzip it, you will find that the program will create an icon in the Start menu. You can see from the screenshot I uploaded.
